SEAN McMILLAN has taken over as Chair of the Sutton Hoo Ship's Company. As well as having a strong interest in early seafaring, Sean is the founder of Spirit Yachts, Ipswich. His sleek and speedy yachts have made appearances in James Bond films. Martin has stepped down from the Chair of both the Company and the Witan to focus on previous commitments but remains as a Trustee, New Trustees include Helen Geake, Anglo-Saxon expert and Time Team presenter.. Tim Kirk, our master shipwright has commenced the fitting of the oak planks with their iron fastenings.
